  1. Here's a link to last years numbers..... 2022-23 Wrestling Attendance
  2. They should be fine at 165 with Ruiz. I was one of the top 10 recruits last year and in one of his few dual appearances he beat the defending Pac 12 champion Oloquin from Oregon St. His other dual appearance was verus Carr, with the exprected result of a true freshman facing a NCAA champ.
  3. I watched Figueroa lose in the dual versus Stanford. At that point he'd lost of his last 4, including a match to the Oregon St backup. His season record was 5-5. He went 10-0 the remainder of the year, with pretty much every match being against a top notch opponent. I'm not sure what was going on with him, be it mental or slow recovery from his injuries, but kudos for turning it around.
  4. Kaylor hasn't AA'd for 2 years. I think that ship has sailed.
  5. Pretty sure McLane's done. They introduced him at senior night. Do you think Vasquez is going somewhere? He'll be back at 141. No way Parco is gonna drop a weight after being an AA 4 years at 149. Not so sure Larkin can beat anyone out in the 149 class. Freestyle success doesn't always mean folkstyle success. In addition to Parco, rumor has it he's had trouble beating Ramos, you also have Ysaquirre. Valencia didn't fare to well this year when he tried to jump to 184. Lost the wrestle off to Negron who jumped over him from 165 to 184 and had a solid year. I think he stays right where he's at, 174.
  6. Unless he edited your post, it's you in the wrong because he mentions the Abas upset in his post.
  7. Funny definition of "kicking someone's teeth in". Records show Imar wrestled Nolf in the 2 years prior to losing to Joseph two straight years in the finals. First time was a fall, then the last two matches were. 6-5 3-3 (TB 2)
  8. True. OSU doesn't seem to be developing guys they way I thought they would. Mendez, their best wrestling came over with Pendleton from ASU. The kid that that care fell on was a transfer as well. Olguin was PAC 12 champ last year and got beat soundly by ASU's true freshman who's redshirting this year. I think he had some other poor losses. Kaylor has regressed, just stalls now. OSU fans on their bulletin board are getting frustrated. They won the PAC last year, but ASU was in the same boat. Had Teamer wrestled last year and Vasquez been available for the PAC 12 tournament. That would have been 2 more champs for the Devils and most likely would have finished first rather than 4th. None of the teams out west have the depth of the midwestern squads to overcome the loss of a starter.
  9. 3 champs and they finish second ahead of Oregon St. The Pendleton resurgent at OSU seems to have stalled.
  10. I've got both. If the links in the PAC 12 site dont work, try going to the Oregon St website and the links are in their schedule. Lack of scoring sucks. I'm following along with scoring on trackwrestling but they aren't in sync.
