  1. Did you watch the same match? The ref won that match, not Brooks.
  2. Clearly biased refs were clearly biased against both Burroughs at 74 KG and Valencia at 86 KG. That was bullshit.
  3. Why was Session 1's thread 'Official' and this one is not?
  4. Dear J'den Cox, Thank you. Sincerely, The USofA
  5. The criteria has been the same for eight years now. They won a medal at a weight that the IOC doesn't allow, not UWW. USAW is respecting UWW in this regard.
  6. Perhaps they should have tried to win a medal at a non-Olympic weight last year.
  7. Starocci will be at 197lbs for them next year.
  8. Cox - Moore up top and Aiello - Trumble on bottom at 97 KG.
  9. Wow. Aiello just steamrolled Macchiavello in the 2nd period. It is looking like he gets Trumble next. Not sure, but pretty sure that Aiello has owned that series.
  10. Cox with a horseshit of a match win there. 1-1 criteria wins should result in both losing and their next round being a 'bye' or 'forfeit' victory for the next guy up.
  11. Damn. Hard for me not to root for Thicclay, but I was definitely rooting for Starocci there.
  12. Back and forth with Thicclay... Thicclay is currently up 5-3, but Starocci has answered every time thus far.
  13. It's starting to look like Starocci is going to get that rematch with Marsteller...
  14. Furthermore, aside for Brooks, there wasn't a single 197lber that showed to be in Thicclay's class, either. If Starocci goes up, he will be just fine.
  15. Starocci is up at the break 1-1 on Thicclay. Both have one passivity, next one is on the clock.
  16. There is a distinct gap between Bartlett and Alirez. It's impressive on Alirez's part.
  17. This version of Johnny D does not get it done for us at LCQ. Unfortunately he has been the only one to bring hardware home for us internationally at 65 KG, so he is statistically our best option.
  18. Larkin is beating Johnny D 8-8 with less than a minute.
  19. Christian Carroll beats Anthony Cassioppi 6-6. Damn fine job by the young gent there. That was a slugfest there. Now he has to face a rested J'den Cox.
  20. Cassioppi looking to go upper body and Carroll looks to get a slip there. 6-4 with 2M to go there.
