All indications have pointed to this year being JB's last run, no matter how far he goes. The odds are stacked against him for sure. For all us JB fans, just be ready. The man has given us a lot over the years. There was a lot of separation between Dake and the 74kg domestic field last year, hard to imagine anyone making that ground up on him.

What a crazy list at 74kg. Of the young guys, KOT, Carr, Messenbrink, and Shapiro are all Junior World Champions. Add Mekhi Lewis if he qualifies.

Bo's got a fight coming up. What better way to promote amongst the wrestling fan base than to start Twitter/X beef with an all timer. Could JB's answer been a bit better, given the platform? Sure, something as simple as "look, whichever leg is in front of me". But him and DC were in the middle of their buddy banter. At the end of the day, it was a bit silly to be that sensitive about it.

I don't know his current plans but I doubt we see him competitive again and that's a shame. I felt Imar would have broken through if he would have stayed in it but he had some life changes and that's the way it goes sometimes. His 2019 Final X series with JB was phenomenal.

Agreed, wouldn't be surprised to see him go 86kg and Brooks go 97kg. Honestly, brooks may have a better chance beating Snyder than he does Taylor.

Maybe, he's that dude. But he looked big. Both JB and Dake looks noticeably smaller between 79kg and 74kg.

Hard to believe Starocci will be cutting down to 74kg in a month, on one leg.

Looked like he didn't realize Carr had riding point. Carr had nothing left in the tank. MM should have taken another shot, very little doubt he would have scored. Carr had given up a TD just seconds prior. MM will learn from this, hard to see him losing again.
