  1. Speaking of "Moneyball", Billy Beane has a son that wrestled this past high school season (as a freshman).
  2. Sure you have!, This past March with the Iowa wrestling crowd after NCAAs,
  3. With a horizontal butt-stroke, AHHHHHHHTACK!
  4. Reading the post, through the first part my thought was this is an "A Choice" 1 of a topic! Second portion, same - A 1 Three quarters of the way through and it was still a shining 1 Something happened in the last part. Not sure if you hurt your typing fingers and just called it a day, but what I expected to still be a finish at around a 3 turned into a 6.
  5. I know and like Derek Moore and Aaron Pico, but any "list" that identifies Moore and Pico above Stephen Abas as a "top NCAA folkstyle wrestler" should be shit-canned (or PortaJohned?) without further ado. There's others on this, but that's really bad...
  6. I check that place out from time-to-time and figured today would be a good day to peruse such, given the recent "volatility" with the program, but...wow.
  7. 1 of 2 is "most"? Is that what he posted? Maybe Jimmy is a government accountant whereby 50% is most instead of half...
  8. Or maybe it's "Bill Zadick to OU" for a technique clinic?
  9. It's difficult to predict anyone going 1, 1, 1, semi-slide to 6
  10. If he'd gone to Penn State, who is to say he wouldn't have been hit by a car and killed on his way back from Primante Bros on Hiester? (isn't this how what ifs and speculation work?)
  11. What about "Jocko Homo" from the guys that sometime wore red plastic helmets?
  12. Not sure about a religious tie-in, but Erick Sermon had a "Parrish", but nothing to do with Jericho.
  13. I'm good with the rankings/list WKN illustrated. The numbers reflect(ed) actual results, not opinion. Plus, as a 57kg guy, I like to make fun of the 125 weight class (midgets, runts, etc)! Regarding Spenser Lee, he had a fantastic career at Iowa and being characterized as the 6th amongst the 6 listed is not an insult. Of note, he is Tom Brands 1st 3-timer, which is impressive. Also impressive is that - I believe - Cael Sanderson, in 14 seasons at Penn State, has coached as many 3 timers as Dan Gable and Tom Brands have combined at Iowa. That's not a shot at Coaches Gable or Brands (it can't be, their results speak for themselves), just recognition to/for Cael Sanderson.
