Stieber came close at the age of 18 (junior or senior year): "He was the lone high school wrestler to compete at the 2009 World Team Trials, a World Championships qualifier contested by U.S. Olympic-caliber wrestlers, where he placed fourth."
Interesting. I would just like for our referees to call things similarly to international officials (aside from the scandals e.g. Chamizo of course) as it seems our domestic refs do not.
There's no question the singlet pull happened, but I'm not sure on the rules around this. Is it an automatic point no matter what, or does it have to give the wrestler an advantage? I'm not sure how that little tug could have any effect on what's going on.
I think he legit almost died while out snowmobiling lol. Plus the biggest loser, which c'mon, everyone knew having a wrestler who grew up cutting weight was a done deal from the start, and his other 400+ lb weight swings... All interesting.
Even the interviewer is tired of the God answers. She was done after 1 question this time when Snyder started preaching. Can't wait to see what Brooks has to say if he wins.
