Didn't you say she wad a POI earlier in this thread?

Dom's training partner in Belgrade.

My dark horse choice for 50s.

I don't see her getting past Hildebrandt this cycle, but she's the heir apparent.

I usually have to...

Do the guys who watch men's FS have to put up with this fatheaded assclown too?

It was an amalgamation of the FloBros.

I typically turn it down anyways if I am intently watching.  It honestly doesn't matter who is on the call.

2 WFS MFF out... one was a legit injury.

11 Greco MFF out (9 of 10 for 5th/6th?!).

9 MFS MFF out.

The boys should strive to be as tough as the Women.

Yes, typically Pyles and Bader. They have a consistent brutal combination of not understanding high level wrestling, not having competed at high level wrestling themselves, not understanding the rules, and not understanding how to execute professional commentary. It’s barely a step above when BTN+ lets the J school kids announce their first wrestling meet.

Flo would be wise to pay some high level participants for one-off finals matches e.g. John Smith for US Open finals MFS, Clarissa Chun for WFS, Mark Hall for Fargo finals, so on and so on. It wouldn’t hurt the Flo bottom line as much as it would hurt their feelings.

Why does Women's Sr. freestyle only go up to 76KG in weight?

The high school girls seem to have 200 and 225 pounds.

If there are enough high school girls in these categories, wouldn't there be enough big women on the planet to have category like 85KG or something like that?

Drop the lowest weight down to 46kg.
Raise the highest weight to 85kg.
Spread the rest out.

The 2kg spreads from 55 to 57 to 59kg have always bothered me.

Kennedy Blades is one bad (great) wrestler.  Techs a 6 time World Champ.

She is now arguably the best female American wrestler since TMS has stepped off the stage for the time being ... even if her credentials are not yet what some others have at the Senior level.

She's at least certainly the one with the most potential.

WFS ends up being 3.

Guilford is a no show?

Just a false statement.

Pardon me. I should have clarified.

He believes that peaking is a mindset. And that you should be better every week.

As opposed to the planning of structured training to deliver a physically ready and optimized athlete for the most important period of their college season, the NCAA tournament. Structured training which should, if done correct, result in training overload and then recovery periods. Making it, quite literally, impossible for you to be better every week.

First tourney back after having twins nine months or so ago...pretty decent return. Taking nothing away from Blades.

That's always amazed me. There's no way to draw a perfect analogy, but...it's like a Man having a SERIOUS, devastating injury that knocks them out for the better part of a year and then having to rehab...while being another human beings actual food source.

But Blades does look...pretty damn impressive.
