Mike Parrish
One year at the US Open, they gave out luggage tags with the athlete's last name on them. Dom ended up with one of Parris' and he got one of hers. I tracked him down and swapped him back. I should have kept that one... 😉 Edited March 27 by Mike Parrish

Gus
Congrats to Mason. Hoping he can catch fire internationally and become the US rep. His win over Zare showed the upside he is capable of.

Wrestleknownothing
No surprise that Mason Parris was number 1 in both the fan vote and the committee vote, but I am very surprised that Aaron Brooks was last in the fan vote and got zero committee votes. I think Starocci being a Penn State gent eliminated him doubly. Quote "The battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. In most years, Brooks wouldn't have been a Hodge finalist.

nhs67
Starocci could just try not being a cocky little shit that half his own room doesn't even like for starters, right? 1 Quote "The battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. True, but there has also never been a two lose finalist, and Brooks polled below him. I find that surprising.

Jason Bryant
I'm glad they took the completely subjective "Sportsmanship" (or was it heart?) out of it. If you're the best wrestler that year, and you're a jackass, that shouldn't disqualify you from winning something that's based on results that season. News flash, not every Hodge winner from the past is of high moral/ethical fiber or high character people. That's just the nature of people. If Starocci has the stats to validate the #1 next year for this, I'll have no qualms putting him on the #1 line. Edited March 27 by Jason Bryant 4 Quote Don't work here no more ... either.
