And it is another thing to have beaten multiple medalists. If you can regularly beat guys that have won medals it should be obvious that you should be viewed as a medal threat. Unfortunately for us gents who want to see him do that, if he competes at 92 KG, I believe he wins the spot for us. That gives him a shot at a medal at Worlds this year. I just don’t go so far ahead of myself to consider a guy world medal threat….who is not competing in the world championships. Countless upon countless examples of people who have beaten a medalist, yet never competed in a world championship, let alone medaled, keep me from taking that step. Maybe this will simmer everyone’s onions: Do I believe he has the talent and skills to win a medal some day? Sure. Seems there is a de facto "transfer portal" now for freestyle (international) not just folk (domestic). In the future, guys might be able to wrestle for Mars or Venus or Jupiter.
