Guys back from injury and redshirt

Starting off with Jakob Camacho.  Feels like he's been in college for ten years.  He has two more years of eligibility.

Josh Edmonds off redshirt and down to 141 for Missouri

CJ Composto and Martin Cosgrove off the redshirt for Penn (technically they withdrew and were with Philly RTC and then reinstated, but same idea)

Poznanski off redshirt and up to 197 for Rutgers

Ben Smith off redshirt at 197 for Cleveland State, using his sixth and final year of eligibility.

How about some others?

To be fair, he pulled a Bartlett and onky went 149 for the team.  He should do well at his natural weight of 141.

Ayala is coming off Redshirt for Iowa.

I think he contends this season at 125lbs, providing he shows up to NCAAs healthy.

Shawver of Rutgers posted somewhere that he was granted Medical for last season and will be returning up at 133lbs for them.

It wasn't a Redshirt, but Vasquez of Arizona State at 141 will hopefully be able to finally make a postseason run this season.

Teemer for ASU at 157lbs is back.

Krattiger of Minnesota was finally released from Wiscy, three years later, and should be in contention for their starting role at 174lbs unless Carlson takes it from him.

These are just gathering through the Top 33 on Wrestlestat.

There are others.  Many others who have are coming off a True Frosh redshirt or changing schools and/or weights but weren't on redshirt just sat behind someone better.

Fernandez at Cornell.

It's "Fernandes."

Add Loew (197 AA in 2022), Greg Diakomihalis (who may or may not be able to beat Ungar), and Yapoujian at 157 for Cornell.  Also Josh Saunders at who-knows-what weight and if he can even make the team.

I was just coming to say Loew.  I thought hr was 184, though.

Unless he can make 125 or go 157, I don't see him making the team.

Wildcard option would be Cornell West with Koll?

Bennett Berge 184 SDSU is coming off redshirt

A lot of true frosh coming off shirt that should be impactful from the get-go.

I do think the OP was thinking about non-true frosh though.

Speaking of your SDSU Jackrabbits - it would like to see Meredith (125/133) and/or Tagg (133/141) see some time in the lineup.

I’m not sure if Meredith is an upgrade over Jordan at 125. I also hope to see Tagg next year at 133. Carlson will be back at 141.

I don't think he is an upgrade over Jordan, personally.  That said, Jordan does have a Redshirt available.

Besides Luke Luffman, the ILLINI have Joe Roberts at 157 and Justin Cardani at 125. The latter two will have to win back their spots in wrestle-offs. The Orange and Blue should be pretty fierce top to bottom.

I always appreciate your enthusiasm on Illinois.  I think they will be at least a tier up from last year.  Maybe two.
